Starting point -- east back down the 1.25km west--5.25km down the back—9.25 km east to west to the finish. Total length is 10.5 km.
Mini Beach Marathon (In the plane of the 1.25 km run back and forth on the beach)
Starting point - 1.25 km east back to the west to the finish. Total length is 2.5 km.

Note: Mini beach marathon runners sent representatives to report on November 29 (ahead of one day), receive athletes’ items and attend the technical meeting in the afternoon.
. Requirements on participation
(一). Qualification
Beach marathon participants must be at least 20 years old (born before December 1, 1993)
Mini beach marathon runners haven’t limit to gender and age.
   Project participants in beach marathon regardless of nationality, who is health, can compete. Every participant is required to fill up the application form and sign on the participants’ statement, as well as pay the application fee.It is free for Chinese athletic association members and invited athletes. Mini beach marathon run must be unified registration by unit and group.
Participants must be in good health, adhere to long-distance running exercise, and fit to participate in the race. The following diseases sufferers should not participate in the race:
Congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease sufferers / hypertension and cerebrovascular disease sufferers / myocarditis and other heart disease sufferers / coronary artery disease sufferers and severe arrhythmia sufferers / diabetic patients with too high or too low blood sugar / other disease patients unsuitable to take the race.
Note:  1. Participants must provide the proof of good health issued by medical institutions, or you can’t compete.
      2.Marathon brings both mental and physical challenges, so we have to regard safety as the first goal and must learn to "give up" at appropriate time. When you feel not good, please take the initiative to withdraw from the race or seek for help from others. Athletes should run according to their capabilityduring the race, and should withdraw from the race if feeling indeed incapable of continuing running, so as to avoid accidents.
(二)Ways to apply for participation in the race
  1)800, beach marathon project for men and women. 3000, Mini beach marathon project for men and women, end with the full quantum.  (All application will be subject to reply received the confirmation of the organizing committee)
2) Beach marathon event only accept registrants.Personal registration must fill in the personal application form (see attachment). Mini beach marathon project the unified registration by the unit, its application form must be printed (handwritten invalid),all the contestants should cover unit official seal, otherwise can't sign up.
3. Application, location and cost
  On October 10, time signing up to November 10, 8 am to 12:00 every day
(1) 1st way:
Applicants within Hainan province may go to Competition Department of Beach Marathon Organizing Committee of Haikou SportsWorking Team directly (No. 191, Wenming East Road, Haikou City Hainan Province), fill in the application form and pay application fee.

Athletes from other provinces beyond Hainan and foreign athletes from home and abroad paying by U.S. dollars can register online and pay application fee (RMB or U.S. dollar) through remittance to

Note:1. After registered, all candidates please fax the payment copies with signature tothe Organizing Committee Competition Department within two days(Fax: 0086 -898-65370334). The registration of any applicant will be deemed invalid if his or her payment is not received until the check-in. The Organizing Committee has the right to decide whether to accept any application, and the application fee will not be returned after registration.
2. Applicants can visit and search "Registration Check" to see whether their applications go smoothly.
3. Applicants should print the online registration form and send it to the check-in on the check-in date.

(3)Charge standard
   Chinese athletes (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) to a beach marathon project charge a fee of 50 yuan per person.
   Foreign athletes beach marathon project charge entry fee $50 per person.
   Registered in association of Chinese track and field athletes must pass the Chinese athletics association registration online registration system, the organizing committee will not accept directly for registration.
   On November 10, 2013 applicants after the conference will not be accepted. After signing up participants, not refund the registration fee.
   Mini beach marathon project charge fee RMB 20 yuan per person.
Note: 1. Mini beach marathon project do not accept registration website. Each team sent representatives to take the "application form" (online to download the application form) and entry fees directly to the Haikou city international beach marathon Competition Divisionfor registration (Haikoumeilan district wenming east road no. 191)

(三)The organizing committee is responsible for all guest players free four days (November 27 to November 30) board and lodging, and free entry fees.Other athletes’ transportation, room and board, medical treatment expenses, etc
. Competition regulation
  1. The latest Athletic Competitive Rulesformulated by International Association of Athletics Federations and Chinese Athletic Association and current Beach Marathon Competition Rules will be implemented.
2. Dope testwill be implemented over athletes according to the need.
3. Athletes’ race numbers will be compiled and distributed by the Organizing Committee. The number should be hanging in the chest and back.Mini beach marathon runner according to the organizing committee and distribute a number cloth hanged before the bosom in the competition.
4. The men in invest and shorts, the woman in a bikini suit or similar bikini suit. Otherwise can’t roll call. Attend the mini beach marathon athletes participating clothing is not restricted by the games.Athletes must wear without nail (nail nails or glue) rubber shoes, also can only wear socks or playing barefoot (wear socks or vulnerable to sundry cut foot race).
5. The track will be arranged in 4km more smooth running back and forth on the beach of the sea.
6.Starting order: Beach Marathon, Mini Beach Marathon. Specific order: Beach marathon invited abroad and domestic professional men, the foreign guest and domestic professional women, Amateur women at home and abroad, Amateur men at home and abroad, Mini beach marathon men and women.
7.Using a gun to the game, each project starts at the same time.

9.Full beach marathon race adopts chip timing system. Athletes must wear the timing chips specified by the Organizing Committee. Each timing chip wearer should pay 100 Yuan deposit which will be returned after the wearer reaches the end and returns the chip. If the timing chip is lost or damaged, the deposit on it will not be returned and will be deemed as compensation.

Note 1: (1) Domestic athletes’ bonuses are not cumulative, the highest award the main.
    (2) The top 3 will be granted with a medal respectively. Other athletes finishing the course within specified time will be granted with certificates and a bath towel.
   (3) In accordance with the stipulations of Chinese Tax law, the above bonuses will be deducted 20% income tax.
(二)Mini-marathon Results and ranking will not be counted.All the athletes’ commemorative certificate shall be issued.
VI Race number cloth and wearing methods, requirements and regulations
The men’s beach marathon number bib on red and white. Each marathon participator will be distributed 3 pieces of number cloths.
The women’s beach marathon number bib on yellow and red. Each marathon participator will be distributed 3 pieces of number cloths
Mini beach marathon number bib on white and red. Each marathon participator will be distributed 1 pieces of number cloths.
1. Race number cloth
Athletes must wear the uniform race number cloths provided by the Organizing Committee to participate in the race. Race number cloth indicates that an athlete has registered to participate in the race, and only athletes wearing number cloths are allowed to enter the roll call area and starting area.    
2. Regulations on wearing number cloth
During the race, all candidates must wear the number card (on chest and back).The number cloth is forbidden to be transferred and lent to others, otherwise any consequences resulted thereof shall be borne by the original number cloth holders; it will be deemed a violation of regulations if any athlete does not wear (including the situation where the number cloths worn is insufficient) number cloths, or with number cloth blocked or altered, and the athlete in violation of regulations will be canceled of the qualification and will not be granted the result certificate.
The athlete failing to finish the whole course will be required to give one number cloth (the one before chest) to a referee when the athlete is picked up by the sheltercarprovided by the Organizing Committee.

VII. Time and place for filling out the information form and receiving result certificates / prizes / awards
 (一) After receiving number cloths, each participant must write his name, address, phone, blood type and emergency contact address (telephone) on two pieces of number cloths with a waterproof pen, so that the Organizing Committeeand rescue workers can understand every athlete’s information and contact his family and friends promptly in case he has anyaccident during the race.
(二)Every marathon runner can receive his result certificate after the race by presenting two pieces of number cloths, and can receive bonus and so on by presenting the two pieces of number cloths and result certificate. The deadline to receive bonuses after the race is 18:00.Marathon award presentationtime: 15:30.
VIII. Beverage / drink water / water station
1. Beverage station
There is a beverage station set every 5 Km along the course from the departure point to the end point.
Beverage classification and placing order:
Self-prepared beverages are placed on red cloth, beverages provided by the Organizing Committee are placed on blue cloth, and drink water and water provided by the Organizing Committee are placed on white cloth. The beverages on red cloth are self prepared by athletes, and others are not allowed to take.
  1. Self prepared beverage
Any beach marathon runner needing to use self-prepared drinks should send the drink to the beverage management office between 17:00-19:00 on November 29.
Note: Please fill out the unit, athlete number and kilometer number on the self-prepared drink registration form clearly, in order to make it easy for referees to manage and for athletes to take.
. Receive articles \ timing chip
  1. Receive race articles
For the mini beach marathon, the sport event T-shirts and the number cards are token by the leaders of each teams.
Beach marathon athletes should follow the check-in procedures to submit application form, receive "the card for receiving articles", and then present the card to receive "T-shirt", "number cloth", "runner’s bag", "athletes’ handbook" and "chip".
  1. The full beach marathon race adopts timing chip to provide accurate race time for athletes. Athletes must correctly wear the chip in consistent with athlete name and number provided by the Organizing Committee, and must foot on the timing mats at the departure point and the end point, otherwise will not get any result. Any participant not wearing the timing chip or not wearing it in the right way will not get any timing record, and any consequences resulted thereof will not be borne by the Organizing Committee.
3. How to wear the timing chip
Timing chip should be tied to the laces, so please pass the shoelaces through the square hole of the chip and then tighten the shoelaces. The rubberof the timing chip should be directed at the race route. Participants must wear the timing chip in the right way, and if the result record is wrong due to personal wrong wearing of the chip, the Organizing Committee will not bear any responsibility.
An athlete will be canceled race record if he transfers his chip without authorization, or wears several chips or wear the chip of others, etc., and will also be subject to corresponding punishment according to the relevant regulations on race.
Each timing chip wearer should pay 100 Yuan deposit which will be returned after the wearer returns the chip. If the timing chip is lost or damaged, the deposit on it will not be returned and will be deemed as compensation.
4. Time and place for releasing and returning the timing chip
Timing chip is released upon payment of deposit at the check-in; timing chip should be returned to chip recycle station before 19:00 after race ends the current day and then the deposit can be returned.
X. Medical aid, rescue / shelter car
Per kilometer are placed along a clinic, every clinics have atv with clinic emergency work.Participants with disease and injury during the race will be sent to hospital by ambulance, with expenses borne by the participants concerned.
Athletes should run according to their capabilityduring the race, and should withdraw from the race if feeling indeed incapable of continuing running, so as to avoid accidents.
There will be a lot of volunteers and referees along the route, and they are available to offer help. If any referee thinks any athlete not suitable to continue running, such athlete should listen to the advice of doctor and the referee, stop running, get on the shelter car, remove the number cloth before chest and give it to the referee.
The following athletes should get on the shelter car: the ones withdrawing due to poor physical condition, the ones not finishing the whole course after the "close" and the ones canceled of qualification because of violating regulations. After they get on the shelter car, the relevant referees are responsible to register and collect their before-chest number cloths.

   Staring, 1km, 6km, has Mobiletoilets.
XIII. Storing / receiving runner’s bag
    1. All candidates’ clothes must be put in a bag with the same number card of the candidates on top; each participant can take his runner’s bag at the clothing repository by presenting his number cloth.
2. Mini beach marathon participants will not be provided with clothing storage service, and they must bring their clothes by their own..
3. Explanation
(1) Every participant must use the runner’s bag provided by the Organizing Committee, and only the clothes in the runner’s bag provided by the Organizing Committee are allowed to be stored at the clothing repository. The runner’s bag is only allowed to store clothes and is forbidden to store flammable and explosive articles and valuables. In case of any accident, the Organizing Committee will not be liable, and any consequences resulted from any accident shall be borne by the person concerned.
(2) Please tighten the runner’s bag and sew your number cloth on the bag to make it easily identifiable.
(3) The time for storing the runner’s bag: between 14:00-15:15. An athlete can take his runner’s bag by presenting his number cloth before 19:00 after the race ends.

XV.Before-race tips
(一) Basic articles
    1. Prepare a pair of shoes suitable for your running;
2. Prepare a pair of slightly thick cotton socks suitable for running;
3. Prepare thin shorts;
4. Prepare a disposable raincoat, for rain proof, wind proof and warm keeping;
5. Prepare a small box of ointment (medical Vaseline ointment.)
(二)Before-race psychological preparation
    1.The first-time beach marathon participants are recommended to take some physical examinations: including heart, blood pressure, blood chemistry examination (congenital heart disease sufferers and patients with heart disease history, and patients with abnormal blood lipids, blood glucose, liver and kidney indicators are not allowed to participate in the race) ;
2. Foot care: trim feet nails and foot calluses, and seek medical treatment if with ruptured wound;
3. Marathon brings both mental and physical challenges, so we have to regard safety as the first goal and must learn to "give up" at appropriate time. When you feel not good, please take the initiative to withdraw from the race or seek for help from others.
(三) Get ready for the race
1. Do not eat fried, over-sweet food and meat products for breakfast;
2. Do not undress too early: the aim is to maintain body temperature and prevent injury;
3. Get some adaptation exercise at the time 30 minutes before race: the aim is to improve body temperature and improve the movement of heart;
(4) Fat participants and participants with thick tendon should smear petrolatum paste over thecrotch, in order to prevent skin injury.
XVI. Race tips
(一)  During-race notes
1. Runners will feel "uncomfortable" after running for about 10-20 minutes, and this is called the "the first limit state", which is a normal body experience. The solution is very simple, that is to slow down, regulate the breathing or walk for 2 to 3 minutes, and runners will feel comfortable again when the "uncomfortableness" past.
2. Usually, runners without marathon training will meet the body's "movement physical limit" status after running for about 30-35 minutes, including muscle pain, joint pain, very strong fatigue, and also including the psychology of giving up, etc. In case of the said situation, please withdraw from the race, because "continued running" may threaten the life;
3.It would be better every marathon participant run at his own pace, without competing against others, otherwise it will destroy the runner’s original rhythm of running and breathing;
4. Usually, marathon participant should take some sugar-contained drink or energy drink after running for 5 kilometers.
(二)Post-race tips
1. Keep warm, take in water and food promptly (carbohydrates only);
2. Do remember not to take sauna or hot bubble bath, etc. on the race day;
3. Massage is acceptable;
4. A 10 to 20 minutes jogging at the time 24 hours after the race will effectively help you recover from fatigue;
5. Please consult experts and psychologists if you have any physical and mental problems during or after the race.
